I'm a Scrap-a-holic. I have 2 kids, 3 grandbabies, and I married my best friend on June 7, 2011. I love scrapbooking, but also have other crafting passions, like sewing and quilting, crochet, and watercolor painting. I have a part-time job at Archiver's, more for the employee discount than for the paycheck. I love teaching other people about Scrapbooking and about new techniques and tools.

First Flight

My son came to visit me in July of this year and it was his first time on an airplane.

I really hate how the post go backward, so for the next book I'll start at the end and post toward the front. Next book, Disney.

Another page with space for a future pic. Love the full body pose on the left page.

Nathan and his dad. Also, the right page has blanks for future hockey pics.

Since pucks are so small and hard for 5-year olds to hit, beginning players hit a soccer ball around the ice.

I think all the nets on this page are just cool.

The kids build teamwork skills and strength by pulling each other across the ice with their stick.

This is one of my fave pages. Nathan fell, but just kept right on getting back up.

.

This is the Title page of Nathan's hockey book. Not extremely fancy, but sweet enough for a 5-year old.

This is the front of an 8"x8" book I did for Bryan's nephew, Nathan. We had the opportunity to go to one of his practices where I got lots of pics. Granny has possession of the book so Nathan can see it anytime.

A Boy & A Box

Ok. So I took a picture (very poor quality I might add) of one of my latest layouts, to try and get it to post here so I can start getting some of my work on line for you. This is my grandson at 9 months old, playing with some cardboard boxes I had laying around. He played with these longer than he plays with his toys.

I'm slack.

Ok, yes I admit it. I'm slack. I've been justa scrappin away, working on the babies' books. I'm up to August of Garrett's first year, so I'm almost done. The twins' book is done for all the pics I have. Easter book of the nephew is done. And I've added a couple of pages to our miscellaneous book. Reno pics are on their way, so that book will be started soon. I promise, I'll be posting pics of ALL these books very soon.

Fun at Work

Well, I had a ball at work today. I work at Archiver's, for those who don't know. I love my job. Today I had a customer come in with very little experience in scrapbooking, and she had a project she wanted to do for her daughter's softball team. So I got to help her get started with her supplies and materials, plan a layout, pick out colors, and learn how to crop photos. She had so much fun, and I had so much fun teaching her. She's coming back. I expect to help her a little less next time, but I also expect to see her having more and more fun and getting better and better with her layouts.

Scrappin' Roll

Well, I'm on a roll with my scrappin. Over Easter weekend, we took over 100 pics of the family (well, the nephew). I'm making an Easter 8x8 book. I'm 9 pages in, and almost done with pages 10 & 11. It's too cute. I'll post pics when it's all done, as I'm sure Granny will end up with the book.
